I have bought and sold over 19 residences in my lifetime. Jeremiah Oswald tops my list of realtors I would work with again. He is honest, kind, patient and most important, knows the real estate business. In addition, Jeremiah was able to recommend several outside professionals who quickly helped make repairs while our house was on the market. Knowing that our home was under a Home Warranty Program as long as we worked with the Oswald Group was comforting. Notably, other realtors and neighbors told me my selling price was too high, however, Jeremiah detailed the reasons he believed the property would sell at or near our asking price. His advice included location, condition of our house, lot size and knowledge of the current market. He was right! Our house assessed and sold via a VA loan and assessment, in the middle of the covid-19 shutdown at full asking price. My husband and I reached out to Jeremiah while we were still living in Colorado back in 2017. We weren’t going to be in South Carolina for another two months and he virtually helped us find a great place to rent that matched our standards. He really took time to find out what we really wanted and gave us exactly that. From hundreds of miles away and different time zones, Jeremiah was extremely responsive and helpful. Fast forward to two years when my husband and I decide we want to stop renting and invest in a home….we knew exactly who we should call. My husband was deployed and Jeremiah made sure he was just as part of the home-buying process as I was. We were first-time homebuyers and had NO clue what we were doing. Seriously. Jeremiah broke down every step for us and explained it in Layman’s terms for us newbies. We really felt that he could be trusted wholeheartedly because he gave us the good, the bad, and the ugly. He told us the absolute truth and that is what we like most about him. He is not after a sale like most realtors are, but he really wants you to find a home that you’ll love. He will tell you straight up if you are not making a wise decision and we will forever be grateful to him for that. We eventually bought a home in Feb 2019 and we couldn’t be happier. We feel so much peace with the decision that we made and that is in huge part to Jeremiah and his team. He answered all our questions about which loan provider and insurance provider to go with. I would text him at any hour and he would be there. And this guy goes above and beyond for his clients! No joke. After we closed on the house, my husband and I had a vacation planned in Costa Rica. When we arrived to our hotel room in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, we find wine, chocolate, and a note to congratulate us on our new purchase! Isn’t that crazy?! He listens and he cares. If we ever have to make another move or sell our house, Jeremiah will be the only one we will call.
